5 Tips For Starting A New Podcast

1 – Know your voice – know what you want to say and what value you bring to the Podcast space.

2 – Find out where you want you podcast to be recorded and how it will be shared with the world.

3- Create your visuals – your show logo along with a color scheme and a great photo of you!

4 – Be open to new possibilities – do your research – make sure you know what you want to say and stick to it. Outlines are great for this and edit, edit, edit.

5 – Start working on your guest list. This is the hardest part for me. I don’t really have time to search out people who are experts in the space, so I have chosen just to ask people when I meet them if they’ve ever wanted to be a guest on a podcast? It works!

Once you know you are diving into the podcast space, take time to do your homework and then enjoy the ride. I’m so glad I chose to take the leap and now I’m able to share all the valuable information I have learned over the years. I’ve also met some pretty amazing people along the way.
